It's a B!

Today officially ended my bout with Calculus 1. I came out of it battered and bruised, mentally and physically exhausted, with numbers dancing in my head, and wound up with a B. I am certainly not complaining! This was an 8 week course, and we were subjected to 2 hurricanes closures for a total of three days of missed class at 2+ hours each, so we had major catch up to do. The professor did a great job keeping us on track, without making us feel too rushed. Hopefully Calculus 2 will be a little less hectic - it starts tomorrow!
WILMA!!!!! Well, just when you thought the tropics were safe, here comes yet another storm. It is the last name they have for the season, so here's hoping it is the last storm of the season too. No one knows where she will go, but some of the predictions have the "cone of death" on South Florida. It is a wait and see right now, and personally, I am tired of it all. I think my days are numbered in South Florida.
It's been a hectic couple of weeks. Between school and fund raising for Z's school, it seems there is no time for much else. Tonight I am going to kick back and relax, and enjoy a night of no math! Talk to you all later!
