It's been a long time

Yea, ok, I know it has been a while since I have posted. Things have been busy here in the life of Brenda. Mike was home for about 10 days, which is always a good thing. He is doing well, still trying to get his wrist back to normal, but each day it gets better and better. He has pretty much determined that he is returning to Miami to live in June, so looks like we will all be together once again. It will be nice to have another person to talk to around here, as well as help me out around the house.
Zach is doing ok. He has been sick for about a week now, and I finally took him to the doctor today. He just has a virus, or perhaps even allergies, but none the less it is something that just has to run its course. Next week is Spring Break for him, so this will give him an opportunity to get some rest, which I think is the key ingredient right now. We will also head down to Oma and Opa’s this weekend and a hug and kiss from them should cure him completely!
Work is ok, it is nice being able to punch out and leave it at the door when I leave. That is a new experience for me. I take pride in my job, but I am not letting it consume me as I have in the past. Right now school is my most important goal (except for, of course taking care of my kids).
Speaking of school, it is going well. I just finished my last (Thank God) Geology test and got a 95% on it. That gives me a 94.75% for the class, which of course is an A. Never again will I take an independent study, 8 week, science class. Calculus is going well. I got a 92% on my last test, and couldn’t have been happier. What this means is I need only about a 40% on my next test to receive a B in the class, and around an 90% for an A. Needless to say I am shooting for an A. This is indeed the toughest section of the course, and also my weakest area (integrals), but I am going to work my butt off. The last test is on April 18th, so wish me luck on that, chances are I won’t be posting again before that. After the 18th, I have about a 3 week break before summer classes start. I am only taking one course over the summer (Differential Equations), and will continue to work and try to put some money in the bank. April 29th is the trip to Vegas. I am so looking forward to that. It will be good to get away for a few days, and of course Vegas is one of my favorite getaways. Hopefully I will be putting some money in the bank after that trip!!
Hope all is well with everyone, and that everyone has a nice Easter!

Are you going to post blogs from Las Vegas? Maybe with pictures? Or is it an "all play and no work" sort of thing. No matter what have fun and good luck!
